supervision

I am able to supervise counselor associates pursuing LPC and LMFT licensure in the state of Oregon.

my experience as a counselor: years in community mental health, higher education, and most recently in my private practice. i have extensive experience working with a vast range of mental health experiences + many different walks of life.

my approach with supervisees: strengths-based approach helping supervisees work on:

  • discovering their own therapeutic voice and style

  • counselor identity development

  • collaboration on client cases

  • discussion of power dynamics and other systems-based lenses.

what iā€™m drawn to: i draw from the discrimination model of supervision and enjoy addressing the following client work:

  • trauma work

  • stress/anxiety management

  • intergenerational dynamics and family of origin work

  • identity work

  • working with marginalized identities including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ populations.
